A Flexible Furniture Set
Our sister company PLYCO were commissioned to design a flexible furniture set for a Floating Church where space was at a premium. The Floating Church, designed by Denizen Works, is a new, wide-beam narrow boat crowned with an innovative pop-up roof, designed for the Diocese of London. The furniture we designed was manufactured by a local East London design CNC company. Features include custom-designed plywood stacking stools and foldable tables for use at public events and services.

Due to the weight & space restrictions on the boat, PLYCO identified the need for a moveable trolley to assist with the storage of the furniture. Recesses in the trolley base allow The Folding Table and The Stacking Stool to be easily & securely located. The trolley and the collection of furniture is designed to specific storage dimensions so it can roll in and be packed away with ease.
